JBIC's Project Categorization

JBIC puts projects into one of four categories, A, B, C, or FI, in accordance with the extent of the environmental impact(s) and/or JBIC's involvement in the project. Category A and B projects are expected to have significant impacts on the environment (for more detailed explanations, see JBIC page

Below is a list of all the projects that JBIC has classified as Category A or B since JBIC's new guidelines were established on October 1, 2002. (The full implementation of the guidelines started on October 1, 2003.) @This list is a translation of the list provided in Japanese on JBIC's official website.
